Blindquip is a division of Hunter Douglas South Africa (Pty) Ltd and supplies made-to-measure blinds, shutters and window covering solutions through a network of authorised dealers, consultants and installation partners across Southern Africa.

  • Are non-binding until accepted by the customer and confirmed by the supplier. 

 

9. Made-to-Measure Products 

Most Blindquip products are custom-made to individual customer requirements.  

Once manufacturing has commenced, orders may not be cancelled, altered or refunded except where required under applicable consumer protection legislation.  

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all measurements, specifications, colours, finishes and selections before approving an order.   

 

10. Dealer Network 

Blindquip products are supplied through authorised independent dealers, consultants and installation partners.

Customers may be contacted by consultants operating under their own registered business names while representing the Blindquip product range.  

Certain services, installation arrangements, guarantees and after-sales support may be managed directly by the authorised dealer responsible for the project.   

Authorised dealers are independently operated businesses and may provide services under separate business names. 

 

11. Consumer Enquiries and Referrals 

Where a customer submits a quote request, consultation request or general enquiry through the Blindquip website, Blindquip may share the information provided with an authorised Blindquip consultant, dealer or installation partner. 

This information may be used for: 

  • Providing quotations 
  • Arranging consultations 
  • Conducting site measurements

12. Installation

Any manufacturing, delivery or installation lead times provided are estimates only. 

Lead times may be affected by: 

  • Material shortages 
  • Manufacturing capacity 
  • Imported component availability 
  • Public holidays 
  • Transport disruptions 
  • Supplier delays 
  • Force majeure events 

Blindquip shall not be liable for delays arising from factors beyond its reasonable control. 

 

14. Warranties and Guarantees 

Warranty periods vary by product category.
